The AVAmax PLUS system has an automated mixer so there is no need for shaking or stirring. The mixer also optimizes the consistency of bone cement in all procedures. Pressing the MIX button is all it takes for the system to mix the cement. It also sends signals when done. The AVAmax PLUS system also has a coaxial cement tube that extends to the cannula and even through it as a liner. Since the tube is primed before insertion, the cement already flows to the vertebral body from the first turn.
