PREVENT™M Safety Syringes with technology by MAGELLAN™ are a single-handed, needle-based safety device. Each syringe features a secure safety shield designed exclusively by sharps safety pioneer MAGELLAN™. These safety-engineered syringes are designed to maximize your protection from needlesticks and other sharps-related injuries. After injection, immediately apply a single finger stroke to the lever arm to activate the shielding mechanism. This is done by centering thumb or forefinger (of hand holding syringe) on finger pad area of safety cover, then pushing cover forward until it locks. Needle remains locked inside safety cover after activation, which eliminates the need to recap the needle.
