0117310 The Bard™ 3DMax™ Light Mesh is a lightweight, anatomically shaped surgical mesh designed for laparoscopic and robotic inguinal hernia repair, including TAPP, TEP, and Robotic TAPP procedures. This advanced version of the original 3DMax™ Mesh offers enhanced flexibility, reduced material weight, and excellent conformability to the inguinal anatomy. Constructed from large-pore, nonabsorbable polypropylene monofilament, it promotes natural tissue integration and patient comfort while maintaining the proven durability of Bard™ hernia meshes.
- Made of fully contoured mesh designed to conform to inguinal anatomy
- Sealed edge and medial orientation marker help ensure an anatomically correct fit and less wrinkling than conventional flat mesh
- Eliminates need for fixation, which saves time and money.
- Patients who received Bard 3DMax Mesh without fixation used significantly less narcotic analgesia in the immediate postoperative period than those in whom flat mesh was fixated
