Minimally Invasive Aortic Root (MiAR) Cannulae are designed for placement through a mini-sternotomy or right thoracotomy. To achieve direct visualization, the long cannula body is engineered with a luer connection that rests outside of the chest incision. MiAR supports hemostasis management with its Flow-Guard system. Flow-Guard also enables retraction of the needle point into a protective fitting after placement of the cannula.
