These single-use TEE tip guards fit over the distal tip of adult transesophageal transducers to protect the transducer from damage during storage and transportation between patients.
According to a HealthCare Purchasing News Article posted September 28th, 2020, "Surgical instruments often shift during handling and transportation... which can cause damage to sharp and delicate instrument tips...
