SPACEMAKER PRO BTT OVAL

The Spacemaker™ Pro access and dissector system consists of combinations of three dissectors and two balloon access devices integrated into a single, modular device. There are a total of five Spacemaker™ Pro device combinations:

• Blunt tip trocar (BTT) with round dissection balloon
• Blunt tip trocar (BTT) with oval dissection balloon
• Blunt tip trocar (BTT) with cylindrical dissection balloon
• Structural balloon trocar (SBT) with round dissection balloon
• Structural balloon trocar (SBT) with oval dissection balloon

Each combination also includes two 5 mm optical trocars for use during the laparoscopic procedure. The dissection balloons are available in three shapes (round, oval, or cylindrical) depending upon surgeon preference, patient anatomy, and procedural application.

The two balloon access devices are available in two configurations (a structural balloon trocar with a pre-shaped rigid balloon inflated with a bulb or a blunt tip trocar with a round elastic balloon inflated with a syringe).
